Kristen Harrison
Senior Ecologist & Principal (co-owner) of North-South Environmental Inc.
B.E.S. (U Waterloo), M.Sc. (McMaster).
Kristen has been working as a consulting ecologist since 2009, but started her career working with Toronto and Region Conservations, Birds Canada and the Ministry of Transportation (Natural Environment). Kristen has had wonderful opportunities to participate in a broad range of projects and sectors ranging from natural heritage / environment planning, land development, transportation and natural areas management planning. Most recently, Kristen has been focusing on natural heritage planning and planning ecology -driving forces for shaping our landscapes in the long-term. Kristen has always been curious and interested in seeing the big picture and how things fit together, this has led her through an interesting career path and ended up in co-owning a small ecological consulting firm to shape her own role in the industry and create opportunities for others.

Michael Geraghty, McMaster MSc 1990, Geology. Senior Technical Lead, Keystone Environmental.
He is a current member of the Society of Contaminated Sites Approved Professionals of BC (CSAP) and, as such. is approved by the BC Minister of Environment and Climate Change Strategies (BC ENV) to review and sign off on certification documents for contaminated site investigation and remediation in BC. Michael has completed reviews and signed off on 175 BC ENV certification documents including Certificates of Compliance, Determinations, Approvals-in-Principle and Contaminated Soil Relocation Agreements.
