There is an ever-increasing trend, that the experiences you gain outside of the classroom, will significantly support / augment your potential for the next steps after graduation;  whether you are planning on graduate studies, professional school, or heading into the working world, schools and employers highly value the skills that you can gain through hands-on, experiential learning. 

Of course many of you will know that co-operative education, in the Faculty is Science, is ONE option to gain such experiences, but are you aware that there are other avenues for this as well, including research practicums, applied placements and internships?
